FIFA To Send Agents To Diobu Football Fiesta
The Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) has given its tacit support for the forthcoming Diobu football fiesta.
The president of the Diobu Rebranding Project, organisers of the fiesta, Mr. Joseph Wokoma disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Tidesports in Port Harcourt.
Mr. Wokoma, who said that FIFA has agreed to send its licensed agents to scout for talented players during the event, also noted that other international agencies have also indicated interest to participate in the fiesta.
He said that 32 club sides have indicated interest to participate in the football fiesta, while 10 have completed their registration formalities.
He explained that clubs wishing to register will pay N6.700 non refundable fee with two passports of their 32 players.
Mr. Wokoma stated that the even to is aimed at consolidating the existing peace in the Diobu section of Port Harcourt.
In his words; “The fiesta is aimed at sustaining peace, in Port Harcourt, consolidate on the peace in Diobu and engage the youths positively.
