Chime Announces Minor Cabinet Reshuffle

Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State has announced a minor cabinet reshuffle with no commissioner dropped in the process.

Mr. Chuks Ugwoke, Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism announced this to journalists in Enugu at the end of the State Executive Council meeting.

The Commissioner said that the changes were made to position key officers where they would impact positively towards development of the state.

According to Ugwoke, Mr. Emecca Ani, Commissioner for Rural Development moves to Water Resources while Commissioner for Special Duties (Special Projects), Mr Casmir Ugwu, takes over Rural Development.

Messrs Luke Mamel in charge of Transport and Bethel Onyenyiri of Water Resources are now in charge of Special Duties while Commissioner for Enugu Capital Development has been directed to oversee the Transport ministry in addition to his own office.

The commissioner said that the changes took immediate effect.
