The All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) has said that if the electoral reform is implemented, the party will reclaim Zamfara from PDP in 2011.

Mr. Emma Enekwu, the ANPP National Publicity Secretary, stated this on Saturday in Gusau at the end of Zamfara congress.

Enekwu, who was the chairman of the congress, said the governor and lawmakers elected on the platform of ANPP in 2007 had left the party for PDP.

“I want to assure you that same ANPP will reclaim Zamfara in 2011, if the electoral reforms are implemented, because ANPP is still strong in the state,” he said.

He urged the party supporters to cooperate with the new executives and be law-abiding for the progress of the party in the state.

Those elected at the congress, were Alhaji Lawali Abubakar, chairman; Alhaji Aminu Ajiya, vice chairman and Alhaji Dan-IIiya Dangulbi, the secretary.
