ANNP Plans To Win More States
The ANPP National Secretary, Sen. Sa’idu Kumo, said ANPP agenda to ensure all round transformation in the country is to win more states during 2011 general elections.
Kumo, who is a gubernatorial aspirant in Gombe State under ANPP platform, made the party’s agenda known in Abuja on Thursday in an interview with the newsmen.
He said that winning more states would enable the ANPP to continue to canvass for youth development in its programmes in order to move the nation forward.
Kumo decried the neglect of the youth, which had led to their involvement in social vices such as thuggery, drug abuse and other criminal activities.
He said that if elected as governor of Gombe state, he would redress the long neglect of youths by involving them in the development of the state.
“Therefore, I have decided to go home and rescue our future leaders from wasting away, because without them the future of the state is uncertain.
