AGN Crisis: Emeka Ike Vows Not To Join Issues With Arinze

As the leadership tussle in the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) rages on, the factional President of the Association and Guilder Ultimate Celebrity showdown winner, Emeka Ike has declared that he will never join issues with his colleague in Nollywood and President of the AGN, Mr. Segun Arinze over the assocation’s issues.

It will be recalled that Segun Arinze was declared president of the AGN by the Sam Loco-Efe-led electoral committee in the election which is said to be masterminded by the erstwhile AGN president Ejike Asiegbu. The AGN crisis is now in court for the judge to decide on the way forward in Nollywood.

Reacting to the issue of African magic showing Nollywood movies, Ike said it would soon become a thing of the past if only the movie producers cooperate.

“African magic makes commercial values of our movies, they should pay royalties to film producers they show the movies, like paying to the state government. According to the top actor, it is not good for film makers to be eating from the crumbs while those on the sideline are eating well.
