Top 10 By Volume; Access Bank Sustains Drive

Access Bank for some time has made effort to sustain its hold to drive market by volume. Last week Thursday, the bank topped the volume table trading a total of 14,899,559 shares worth N142.2 million in 184 deals.

Also on Friday, the bank led the market with a total of 16,964,464,00 shares worth N122.3 million in 172 deals.

Yesterday, at the end of transactions on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Access Bank still led the market with a total of 15,664,608 shares worth N131.7 million in 205 deals.

Continsuer followed on the top 10 by volume table. The company made it after trading a total of 13,830,420 shares worth N16 million in 36 deals.

Also First Bank made the top 10 by volume when a total of 36,352,988 shares worth N510.9 million in 1004 deals was sold to the public.

The bank also made it to the table of top 10 by volume on Monday trading a total of 17,899,656 worth N256.6 million in 762 deals.

Finbank made the top 10 by volume chart after trading a total of 15,494,561 share with N8.8 million in 77 deals.

GT Bank also made the top 10 by volume chart with a total of 22,803, 516 shares worth N379.2 million in 562 deals.

The bank in the previous day also made the top 10 by volume with a total of 27574,092 shares worth N455.1 million in 554 deals.

Maybanker also made it to the table of top 10 by volume after trading 16,021,334 shares worth N101.6 million in 22 deals.

NB made the top 10 by volume chart with a total of 19,268,502 shares worth N1.3 billion in 181 deals.
