Provosts Forum Satisfied With 16th NIPOGA Facilities
The Provosts Forum has expressed satisfaction with facilities put in place at the Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, for the hosting of the 16th Nigeria Polytechnics Games (NIPOGA).
Its Chairman, Dr Mas’ud Idris, made this known to newsmen at the weekend in Zaria after inspecting the facilities for the Games which commenced on Saturday.
Idris, who is also the Provost, Hussaini Adamu Polytechnic, Kazaure, Jigawa State, commended Kaduna State government, the host institution and the contractors for a job well done.
He said: “We are satisfied with what we saw on ground. It is an indication that Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic is fully ready to host the Games’’.
On the amount spent to erect a befitting Games village, the Chairman said it was commensurate with work done, saying that the village could even host international events.
Athletes from polytechnics across the country had arrived in Zaria for the competition earlier than Friday.
The one week Games will end Saturday.
