Counselling Scheme For Women Out Soon

Worried over the swelling level of broken homes and marriages in the country, an inter-denominational women group tagged, “Notable Women Ministries”, says it has commenced plan to float a marriage counseling programme for single and married women.

President of the group Pastor Ere Kala-Ogolo made the disclosure during a special thanksgiving service of the group to commemorate her birthday in Port Harcourt.

Pastor Kala-Ogolo stressed the need for women to be well schooled before going into marriage, noting that marriage is a life long commitment that is supposed to be enjoyed.

Pastor Kala-Ogolo argued that once a woman discover her hidden talent it would be difficult for her to forsake her marriage,a s Christ is the foundation of every family.

By schooling women in Christian values and principles, she said both spinsters and married women would enjoy their relationship that God has endowed every woman with a unique talent.

The woman of God while lamenting the high rate of maternal and child mortality in the country, also said the group is geared at beefing-up campaign against the menace.

She is of the view that all women are expected to conceive and deliver safely since God did not make pregnancy as an avenue of death.

By enlightening women on the need to engage in anti-natal activities, she believed that a lot of women would be saved from the pangs of child birth.

In order to spread the campaign she stated that the Notable Women Ministries would establish braches in all parts of the country, “we believe that when women gather and pray God hears them”.

The group, she further stated, has commenced a special counseling and loan scheme for indigent women.  She noted that loans are given to women to  help them start their own business and empower their families.
