15 Sports To Feature In NUGA – Official

Fifteen sports are to feature in this year’s event organised by the Nigeria University Games Association (NUGA), a statement has said.

The statement, obtained at the weekend  and signed by Mr Harris Osarenren, University of Benin UNIBEN’s Public Relations Officer, stated that the event would hold in November at the University of Benin.

It listed the sports as volleyball, table tennis, football, swimming and hockey.

Others are athletics, basketball, handball, judo, taekwondo, chess, cricket, badminton and squash.

The statement urged students of the university wishing to participate in the competition, to register now at UNIBEN Sports Complex from Monday to Friday.

He urged the students to register in the “historic event and make UNIBEN proud.”
