Restore Discipline To Super Eagles, Lagerback Urged
A former Green Eagles player, Arthur Ebunam, has charged the Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Lars Lagerback, to restore sanity and discipline to the team.
Ebunam also commended the technical adviser for the 44-man provisional list he had drawn for the 2010 World Cup, saying it was fair.
The former midfielder said Lagerback should monitor the players to ensure a good outing at the mundial.
“Lagerback should not take nonsense from any player, whether on or off the field of play,’’ Ebunam told newsmen in Onitsha, Anambra State.
He suggested that the new set of players should be made to play some friendly matches to test their ability.
Ebunam, however, said that he could not predict how far the Super Eagles would go in the mundial.
