‘Asebi’ Girl Arrested For Stealing N.1 Million

An Asebi girl is now cooling her heels in the police net over N100.000 theft `on wedding day.

The girl who is from Ikwerre was said to have stolen the money when she was dressing flower girls for the wedding.

On sighting the money, as Small Talks gathered, the Asebi girl ordered the flower girls out.

Trust children of this generation, one of them who was doubtful of the whole thing told her peers that this “one aunty Sey mekine comot som tin bad fit  happen.”

The little girl who decided to monitor the aunty from the window saw her when she was deleting the envelop but did not know its content.

When the bride came back to the house to pick the money for final touches on the wedding, she met an empty treasury.

Though thinking that her friend had-save-kept the money for her, she met her at once demanding for the money.

Much to her chagrin Small Talks learnt, her friend/ Asebi denied it to the last.

When the argument heated up, one of the flower girls came and said that “I see aunty they remove one envelop.”

Still not satisfied with the girls report, she continued to deny it which made her friend to invite the police and she later confessed to the crime in police net.

They have fallen apart now due to the incident.
