Yar’Adua: Balarabe Musa Berates NASS, EXCOF
National chairman of the conference of Nigerian Political Parties, Alhaji Abdilkadir Balarabe Musa, has berated the National Assembly, the dissolved Executive Council of the Federation (EXCOF) and the ruling Peoples Democratic Party for their inability to ensure the elevation of Acting President Goodluck Jonathan as the substantive president of the country.
He said Nigeria needs an effective and strong leadership and ailing President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua should have been impeached..
Musa told The TIDE in an interview in Umuahia that inability of the EXCOF to declare Yar’Adua incapacitated and the NASS, to impeach the President amounted to treason, adding that they were toying with the fate of the country because of an individual. “Yar’Adua is just an individual and we (CNPP) are interested in the whole country,” he said.
