Yar’Adua’s Health: Prophet Seeks Two-Day National Fasting

In order to avert what he described as a national disaster, a prophet from the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star has called for a two day national fasting to be declared by the Acting President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.

The two day national fasting, according to the man of God in a statement signed and made available to The Tide was aimed at reconciling Nigierans with God, as the current health problem of President Yar’Adua may spell doom for the country.

The prophet who gave his name as Israel Unwana warned that, “if the presidency would not hearken to the words of God something more terrible would happen.”

Prophet Unwana said he had prophesied about the current president’s ill health in 2007 but was not heeded by the ailing president leading to the current political problems the country was now facing.

According to the prophet, “ when the holy Spirit made the revelation to me, I reduced it in writing and informed the Cross River State Commissioner of Police about it but he ignored me”.

However, Prophet Unwana was well received by the then Commissioner of Police in Rivers State and the Inspector-General of Police which paved the way for him to go to Aso Rock only to be told of the president’s travel.

Though he had left a copy of his message with the president’s aides he lamented that they were never acted upon leading to the president’s predicament.

Speaking more on the dangers awaiting the country, if the authorities fail to heed God’s voice, Prophet Unwana said, “In the year 2007, the Holy Spirit personified, leader Olumba Olumba Obu revealed the problem of Nigeria to me.

“He revealed that the Nigeria Civilian government had been in trouble with the Holy Spirit since 1982/1983; the problem lingered till date because successive governments have not bothered to solve the problem, hence the current state of affairs of  the country.’

The man of God therefore directed that though the two-day national fasting should take place at a date to be declared by the presidency  “the fast is to commence on a Friday and climax on Saturday.

Adding, “Nigerians are to use the two day to plead with God the father for forgiveness for the way the nation’s treasury has been looted by those in government from 1982 till date.”

It would be recalled that Prophet Unwana had before this time predicted the frequent plane crashes in the country long before they happened during president Obasanjo’s tenure.

Then the airport authorities had ignored him until when the incidents occurred and he was invited by the police for interrogation but was subsequently released.
