Princewill Redeems Bus PledgeTo Students
The Action Congress (AC) leader in Rivers State, Prince Tonye Princewill has urged students in institutions of higher learning to always remain focused, steadfast, honest, visionary and committed to their studies.
Prince Princewill said the advice become necessary because it was high time Niger Delta youths proved that they were not violent with tendency of militancy.
The AC leader who stated this while redeeming the pledge of a 14 seater bus to Ijaw Female Students Association said the gift of a bus was not an act of wanton show of wealth but rather borne out of a sincere need to assuage the logistics and associated challenges the association faces.
He urged every leader to rally round and think of ways to alleviate problems faced by our youths.
The president of the Ijaw Female Students Association, Mary Nagberi while receiving the bus, commended Action Congress leader for the gesture and promised that the bus will be put to judicious use.
Meanwhile, the female students president used the opportunity to confer on Prince Princewill the “Light of the Niger Delta Politics”, award and urged him never to lose focus in his political mission.
Also, Comrade Miebi Omona, who represented Ijaw Monitoring Group (IMG), also commended the Kalabari politician for the gesture, stressing that he has indeed proven that he is a leader that could be trusted.
