RSG Backs Jaja For NPL Board

As the former president of Nigeria Referees Association, NRA, Dr. Sam Sam Jaja continues to push for the membership of the board of the Nigeria Premier League NPL, board under the umbrella of the South South zone, the Rivers State government has endorsed his ambition.

  According to a news release signed by Juliana Masi, the Press Office of the State’s Ministry of Sports, the Commissioner, Hon. Boma Iyaye has declared support for Dr. Jaja as the South South zone’s representative in the NPL.

  Describing the former referees boss as a vast and vibrant technocrat in sports administration, Hon. Iyaye said that he had no doubt that Dr. Jaja would adequately represent the interest of the geo-political zone.

  He further stated that the inclusion of the sports administrator would boost NPL’s strength in policy formulation and implementation, which would further expose the region because of the Wealth of experience he has in grassroot football and sports development over the years.

  Rivers State club’s, Sharks and Dolphins FCs, and Warri Wolves Football clubs of Delta State have also endorsed Dr. Jaja’s ambition.
