Clearance For NECO Registration Begins Today

Clearance for the registration of this years National Examination Council (NECO) Examination begins today at the Rivers State Ministry of Education.

 A document from the Education Ministry made available to The Tide stated that all proprietors and heads of schools are to come to the ministry with necessary documents to clear their schools for registration.

 Such documents required from the school heads include provision of Junior Secondary School 111 results of students currently in their schools’.

 Others are: transfer certificates and results of students admitted into Senior Secondary School 111, promotion results of Senior Secondary School 1 and Senior Secondary School 11 students respectively.

 The document also warned heads of schools to ensure that the number of candidates they register On-line are the exact number approved by the ministry.

 The document further requested the school heads to submit their papers once, saying that no up date will be made on the matter.

It will be recalled that the state Ministry of Education ended clearance of schools for this years West Africa School Certificate (WASC) last week.
