RSSDA Gets New Executive Director
A new executive director and Chief Executive officer has been appointed for the Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA).
He is Mr Nobel Pepple, who now takes over from Mr Bolaji Ogunseye, whose tenure expires next week, January 28.
A statement signed by the agency’s head of media, Mr Alom Anyanya indicates that Mr Pepple until his appointment was a senior management staff of Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC).
The new chief executive officer is expected to resume office formally on Januarys 29, at the agency’s head office in Port Harcourt.
Mr Bolaji Ogunseye was the pioneer executive director of the agency.
It would be recalled that the agency became operational two years ago following its inauguration by Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.
The agency was established to evolve sustainable development strategies for the improvement of Rivers State.
