Rivers Angels Seek Maximum Points In Ibadan

Rivers State Female Football team, Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt will today in far away Ibadan try to grab maximum away points in their week 4 match with Pewo Queens in the ongoing 2009/2010 National Women League.

The match, which is expected to be keenly contested will no doubt see the Angels having vowed to win the FA Cup and league title this soccer season.

Following their records this season the Angels started on a good note, winning the two games played before the Yuletide recess while the week two match was postponed following the participation of some Angels players who went camping with the national women team, Super Falcons, in Abuja.

Currently the Angels are occupying the driver’s seat on the league table with six points from the two matches played so far.

Home advantage or not, the host would not find the Angels an easy nut to crack following their pedigree and quality of players in the team.
