Rivers Angels Move To End Title Drought
Coach of the Rivers State women football club, Rivers Angels Football Club, Whyte Ogbonda, says his target for the 2009/2010 soccer season is to achieve the long pursued dream of winning trophies.
According to him, the club has been working assiduously to win the FA Cup and the league title this season and seasons to come.
He continued that the team has worked hard to win the League and FA Cup in recent time, but, all efforts proved abortive.
Coach Ogbonda however stated that the club would not relent until their goal is achieved, saying that, the sky would be their limit as they strive towards their desire this soccer season.
He continued that the club which clinched second position in the Leagues and third in the FA last season would leave no stone unturned in actualising her dream this season.
Meanwhile, the team will resume training on Thursday in order to prepare for the challenges of the coming new season.
