Principal Initiates Scholarship Scheme

Members of the Nnebuha Social Club of Eneka, in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State have been promised Scholarship Scheme for their brilliant children.

The Principal of Government Secondary School Eneka, Chief Roland O. Onuma, who initiated the scheme during the end year party of the club at Eneka said it was his contribution to the growth of Eneka Youths academically.

Chief Onuma said that the scholarship scheme is billed for Senior Secondary one to three academic sessions.

He called on the women group to utilize the opportunity stating that it was part of his contribution as the patron of the club.

In her opening remarks during the ceremony, the President of the club, Mrs Comfort Igwe, urged the women to be good custodian of their children.

Mrs Igwe called on the women to always live co-operatively with their husbands.

Also speaking Mr. Benjamin Chukwu, another patron of the club enjoined the women not to relent in their efforts to women in Eneka community.
