Premier Music Puts New Masquerade On CD, VCD

As part of repositioning the music company to comply with the computer age and reclaim its position once more as leader in the business of music making Satellite town, Lagos-Based recording company fremier Records recently revisited its archives to reissue numerous oldies that were previously released by the company years back when audio music and music carriers were only on vinyl plates, audio reel, cassettes and VHS format.

One of such oldies was part of the new release from what The Weekend Tide Entertainment gathered were numerous works of James Iroha, OON.

The Weekend Tide Entertainment learnt that the comedy works which were the first of such recordings in the country were previously on record plates, which were then in vogue but following the upsurge in demand for the works, the recording company decided to re-issue the works on CD and VCD formats.

Some of those already released in the new format are The Teeth Of A Goat Monkey Pepper Soup and Mr Bankro Vinch.

The Managing Director of the firm, Toju Ejuyietche told The Weekend Tide source, that premier records had fully returned to business.

“I’m promising people that we have bounced back to retake our position as the number one music company in Africa, and this time around we are fully equipped to satisfy our numerous customers and musicians on our label this time”, he said.

According to him, his company would be networking with radio, TV stations and Nollywood practitioners on the best way to merchandise thousands of songs the company has in its kitty.
