No Injury To Osaze

Super Eagles Media Coordinator, Idah Peterside has dispelled reports that forward Osaze Odemwingie picked up an injury at the team’s training camp in Durban during the week.
Peterside told Tidesports’ source that the player only had a throat infection and was placed on antibiotics by the medical team.
“I can tell you that Osaze is not injured. What he has is an inflammation in his throat and was advised to rest by the doctor,” Peterside said.
“He was also placed on antibiotics to reduce the swelling and the pain. That is all. He should be okay in a couple of days.”
Odemwingie missed training and also sat out the 0-0 draw against Zambia on Wednesday, but Peterside said he would be ready to play against Egypt.
“It is just a minor indisposition. He will be fit and available for selection before our first match against Egypt.”
