Eagles Off To Angola Today
Nigeria’s Super Eagles leaves for Angola today with a chartered aircraft as they begin their quest to add a third African title to their measly collection of two.
NFF Chief Media Officer, Ademola Olajire said in a statement on Wednesday that the Glass House has concluded arrangements to ensure that the travel arrangements were hitch free.
“The Nigeria Football Federation has concluded arrangements for a charter flight to take the contingent from Durban on Friday afternoon to Luanda, the capital of Angola,” Olajire said.
“Flight time will be four-and-half hours. The Bid Air aircraft will take off from Durban at 1pm South Africa time (12 noon Nigeria time). The contingent will fly an Angola Airways flight from Luanda to Benguela on Friday afternoon.”
Nigeria plays Cup holders Egypt in the opening match of Group C at the tournament on Tuesday.
