CAN Condemns Nigeria’s Inclusion On Terror List

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) South-South Zone has called on the government of the United States of America to delete Nigeria from the terror list.

The zonal co-ordinator of the association, Apostle C. D. Numbere who made the call in an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt shortly after the Inauguration of the Rivers State Council of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) said that a whole nation cannot be punished for the action of one man.

Apostle Numbere also charged the new leadership of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Rivers State to lead with the fear of God.

He said that the new PFN executive must give a leadership that has the testimony of Jesus Christ.

“A leadership with untainted good public testimony, a leadership that has the fear of God, humble, respectful of elders and self respecting, not over ambitious deceitful and proud,” he said.

Also speaking, the vice chairman, South-South zone of PFN, Dr Felix Omobude warned against politicising the fellowship.

Dr Omobude urged the new executive to work with the fear of God, stressing that decisions should be taken only after due consultation with members.

In his welcome address, the new state chairman of PFN, Apostle Zilly Aggrey said that the new team would vigorously pursue the aims and objectives of fellowship and make it relevant in the 21st century.
