Music fans across the country believe that Black Face, the former leader of the Plantation Boyz is the worst among the trio.

Black Face, whose real is Augustine Amedu had partnered with 2 Face Idibia and Chubuzor Orji also known as Faze before the partnership went away and got disbanded.

When the partnership was ongoing, it was the envy of many musical groups and the members were the toast of the ladies and a preponderance of music fans.

But with the break up of the group, 2 Face Idibia and Faze have prospered with the former becoming the rave of the moment, same cannot be said of the former leader of the group.

Many music lovers are of the opinion that the breakup of the group is big setback to Black Face alone and not to his former colleagues.

Speaking with The Weekend Tide, Mr. Ikechukwu Dioku noted that “Black Face ought not have allowed the group to break up because he is worse for it.”

Mr. Dioku, a  former fan of the plantation Boyz said it was unfortunate that the group had to break up else they would have achieved greatly.

He said though 2 Face Idibia and Faze had achieved some measure of success as individuals, they quantum of success they could have achieved as group would be immeasurable.

To him, Black Face’s music is not  appreciated by Nigerian music lovers, and noted that a plethora of Black’s Face’s music is criticism.

According to Mr. Dioku, criticism is not the vogue of the time but mush that appeals to our emotions.

Also speaking, Mr. Chinedum Wosah, a dealer in motor parts, who appreciates Nigeria music expressed sentiments that Blcak Face’s music was archaic.

He remarked that if Black Face wanted a breakthrough  in the Nigerian Music industry, he had a lot  to learn from his former colleagues.

Mr. Wosah said breakthrough could only be achieved if one understand the sentiments and biases of the moment.

The motor parts dealer said Black Face still had time to remake his music and become a rave like Idibia but only if he was ready to learn from his failures.

He, however, pointed out that Black Faze had the potential to excel.
