NFF Organises Appreciation Party For Eagles, Sponsors
Twenty former Super Eagles stars will be in Abuja on December 28 at an appreciation dinner for the current posse of players for securing World Cup qualification.
The dinner is being organised by the Nigeria Football Federation, not only to thank the players for their achievement, but also to thank the sponsors who stood by the team and to get both parties to meet and interact with each other.
Also invited are former chairmen and secretaries of the Nigeria Football Association, members of the Diplomatic Corps and 12 state governors of what the NFF have described as ‘sports loving states’ along with their sports commissioners.
“It is a chance for the NFF, the players and the sponsors to get together and interact after a hectic World Cup qualifying race,” NFF Chief Media Officer, Ademola Olajire said
“We would like to show our appreciation to them for getting the World Cup ticket, and also hope that they can get encouragement from the ex Eagles players, as we are inviting most of the players from the class of 1994 who got our first World Cup ticket.”
The dinner will hold at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
