Mrs Amaechi Bags Virtuous Woman Award

Wife of the Rivers State Governor Dame Judith Amaechi has been conferred with the Virtuous Woman Award by the organisers of Miss Niger Delta Beauty Pageant.

Judith Amaechi was recognised for her contribution to the advancement and development of education in the Niger Delta region.

President of Miss Niger Delta Organisation, Prince Sodin Akiagba said Mrs Amaechi has made appreciable achievement in the early child education established in the 23 council areas of Rivers State and has awarded scholarship to indigent and less privileged children through the Empowerment Support Initiative (ESI).

Mrs Amaechi’s award is coming few days after she was conferred with the Golden Mother of the Niger Delta and the National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP) Cope Mother of Rivers State.

In her acceptance speech Mrs Amaechi represented by her Media Assistant Dike Bekwele thanked the organisers for deeming her worthy of such award and stated that the award will redouble her commitment to the service to humanity.
