Deputy Speaker Receives Vote Of Confidence
The Deputy Speaker, Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Dumnamene Deekor, has received a vote of confidence by Beeri community, his immediate constituents for his developmental projects in the area.
Speaking during a courtesy visit on the deputy Speaker, Hon. Dumnamene Deekor, the Chairman, Beeri community Council of Chiefs, Chief Jeremiah Needam who led other chiefs and community Development Committee leaders to the visit, said they were in his office to thank him for the numerous projects in the area.
Chief Needam opined that the massive projects going on simultaneously in the seven autonomous communities within the area was as a result of the deputy Speakers effort in ensuring that the Beeri Community is transformed.
He commended him for his effective and dynamic leadership style in the area and urged him to continue in his good work in ensuring that beeri community is ranked among the develop cities in the area.
In their own contributions, Mr. Emmanuel Doole and Mr. Lucky Nwibor described the deputy Speaker, RVHA, Hon. Dumnamene Deekor as a peaceful and detrablised son of Ogoni land whose leadership humane has brought development to the people of Beeri community and Ogoni people at large.
The duo while thanking him for his numerous efforts in the area urged him not to be deterred by the distractions of cheap made Politician in the area.
Responding, the deputy Speaker, Rivers State house of Assembly, Hon. Dumnamene Deekor thanked the Beeri Community for the honour done, adding that it was the first time his immediate constituents were visiting him since his elevation as the deputy Speaker.
Hon. Dumnamene called on the people of the area to join hands with the state government in other to make the area a better place while describing peace as the window of societal development.
The number two state lawmaker lauded the state governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for the numerous state project in the area and assured him of the total support of the people to his administration at all time.
The lawmaker beckoned on the people to set out a day for the celebration of the Beeri Community adding that such forum would give sons and daughters of the community who are placed in position of trust to give account of their stewardship to the people.
