ZambiaThrashes North Korea
Goals from James Chamanga and Felix Sunzu gave Zambia a 4-1 win over North Korea in an international friendly.
North Korea will play in their first World Cup in over forty years in South Africa and were using this match as preparation.
North Korea’s only goal of the game came courtesy of a penalty converted by Mun In Guk four minutes from the final whistle.
Chamanga scored twice in the first half and added a third in the 70th minute.
Felix Sunzu, who came on as a substitute for Chamanga in the 71st minute, scored in injury time to restore the three-goal margin.
Zambia coach Herve Renard described the win as a huge boost ahead of the East and Central African Championships later this month.
