Zain Identifies With ION Film Festival

The sixth edition of the ION International Film Festival scheduled to hold between 9th and 12th December 2009 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State has received a big boost recently with the announcement of a leading telecommunication company Zain as the official telecoms company to the festival. According to Calerina Bortolussi, creative director of Omcomm and producer of ION International Film Festival, Zain’s involvement reflects the company’s strong alignment with the goals IONIFF Port Harcourt 2009 to promote peace and global awareness through arts, culture and entertainment. He stressed that Zain’s sponsorship of the first ever ION International Film Festival in the continent is a testament of the company’s commitment to promoting talent development of young people in the country through different entertainment programmes, therefore fulfilling its promise of a wonderful world. He noted that Zain Nigeria will employ the IONIFF Port Harcourt 2009 to its support for peace and sustainable development in the Niger Delta.
