RSG Plans UBE Staff Census

The biometric registration of academic and non-academic staff of junior secondary schools in the 23 local government areas under the Rivers State Universal Basic Education (RSUBE) scheme begins Monday, next week.
A statement from the office of the Head of Service says the exercise will begin with staff of junior secondary schools in Abua/Odual local Government on Monday, 9 and Tuesday 10 November while Wednesday, November 11 has been scheduled for schools in Eleme and Thursday, November 12 for Oyigbo.
Schools scheduled for Monday, November 9 from Abua/Odual are SSAgbora, SS Arukwo, CSS Emilaghan, AMSS Abua, CCSS Okoboh, GGSS Abua Central, CSS Emago-Kugbo, GSS Egbolom and GSS Abua.
Tuesday, November 10 is the turn of ACSS Anyu, CJSS Otapha, GSS Okpeden South, GSS Emulego, GCSS Ogonokom and ECSS Aminigboko, while all UBE Junior Secondary schools in Eleme are to come for the exercise on Wednesday, November 11 and schools in Oyigbo fixed for Thursday November 12, 2009.
The Head of Service, Mrs Esther Anucha directed principals of junior secondary schools in the 23 local governments to collect personal data forms from the UBE headquarters in Port Harcourt by all staff before the exercise
She advised affected staff to bring along, original copies of letters of first appointment, birthday certificate, first school leaving certificate, confirmation of appointment, last promotion letters and completed personal data forms duly signed by their schools principals.
The statement further advised all affected staff to present themselves physically for the exercise which holds at Room 601, 6th floor, Wing A of the Point Block, State Secretariat Complex, Port Harcourt in the morning.
