Nigeria’s flag bearers in the Hockey Africa Cup for club champions in Nairobi scheduled for December 12-22 have stepped-up preparations for the meet. The country’s four flag bearers are: Niger State in the male category; Yobe (male); Imo (female); and Bayelsa (female). The teams have as at Press time gone into close camping to ensure adequate preparation and representation for the country. A senior official who preferred anonymity, told Tidesports in a telephone chat that all hands are on desk to ensure that Nigerian teams go far in the Kenya champion.
