There is strong indication that candidates for the forth-coming Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations would enter the examination halls without writing materials. The Registrar of the Board, Professor Dibu Ojerinde who dropped the hint on Wednesday said that the candidates are expected to pay additional N1,000 so as to cover the cost of writing materials which will be provided by the Board. He disclosed that the measure is to stamp-out the increasing reports of examination malpractices by candidates through the use of writing materials especially mobile hand-sets. According to him, the payment of additional N1,000 would bring the total amount for the collection of JAMB forms to N4,000.
