Air France On-Line Booking For A380 Aircrafts

Air France customers can now book tickets for the carriers forth coming A380 service which will commence next week, November 23 from Paris to New York.

The Tide gathered that ticket sales are online and that the Airbus A380 flight number AF006 would depart Paris 1330 and will arrive New York 1545.

The Airline in its website said it will ply daily with the A380 except Wednesday, stating that, the return leg AF007 departs New York at 1900 landing back in Paris at 0835 the following day.

The statement also said the airline is planning a special commemorative A380 flight on the route on November 20, with seats available all through.

In another development, Afriqiyah has taken delivery of their first Airbus A330-200 aircraft, becoming a new operator of this aircraft type.

The new A330 with seat 230 passengers in a two class cabin  will serve long haul operations on routes from Tripoli, Africa and Europe.

The new A330-200, the first of 3 ordered in 2006 will join Afriqiyah’s existing all airbus fleet of two A319 series and five A320 series.

This brings the unique benefits of Airbus aircraft commonality to Afriqiyah, who can use the same pool of pilots, cabin crew and maintenance engineers across its entire Airbus fleet.

The Chief Executive Officer of the airline, Ramah Ethir said the airline is also planning to take more aircraft that facility next year. Ettir said the airline is considering adding six. A350-800 series next year which was ordered in 2007.

He said the airline has achieved pressive growth since it first entered the market in 2001, adding that the airline is proud to have been in business since then.
