We Will Complete All Projects –Amaechi

The Rivers State Government says it would complete all projects earmarked for all parts of the state before the expiration of its tenure. The State Governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi gave the assurance yesterday, while commissioning the 7.3 kilometers Abuja bye-pass at Ahoada Town, headquarters of Ahoada-East Local Government area. Represented by his deputy, Engr. Tele Ikuru, Governor Amaechi said that his administration’s commitment to the overall development of the state was irrevocable. The state chief executive, who congratulated the people of Ahoada for experiencing a new dawn in road construction, charged them to devote total commitment to the present administration in the state while ensuring that all projects sited in their area are adequately maintained in their own interest. Speaking, the State Commissioner for Works, Mr. Dakuku Peterside reiterated government’s commitment to ensuring that all communities are connected by road . “We decided to construct roads in parts of the state with a view to connecting all communities in Ahoada, he stressed, pointing out that other communities across the state are not being left out. He explained that the Abuja bye-pass was the second phase of roads commissioned in Ahoada Town and charged the people to appreciate government’s gesture by showing loyalty and support. In his speech, the paramount ruler of Ekpeye kingdom, His Royal Majesty Eze Robinson O. Robinson pledged the unalloyed support and loyalty of the people to the Amaechi-Ied administration.
