RSG Hosts Sports Festival Athletes
Rivers State Government is set to officially host and reward members of its contingent to the 16th National Sport Festival, NSF, tagged KADA 2009 Games held in Kaduna earlier in the year.
According to a release by the public relations officer, PRO of the Rivers State Sport Council, Mr Barisi Wifa, the contingent made up of athletes, officials and journalists would be hosted tomorrow at the Alfred Diete Spiff Sport Complex, Port Harcourt beginning from 12.00noon.
It would be recalled that Rivers State placed ninth at the sports festival and the athletes have been looking forward to receiving a handshake from the government.
