Pressure Won’t Derail Our Focus- Obuh

Head coach of the Golden Eaglets, Sam John Obuh has said that he will not subject himself to undue pressure in achieving success with his team when the FIFA Under-17 World Cup gets underway.
According to him, the focus of his young players will not be derailed.
In a recent interview, the former Kwara United tactician said that though pressure keeps mounting on the technical crew in order to ensure a successful outing during the cadet championship, they are undaunted by the development, but rather keeping their focus intact.
“There have been lots of pressure ever since I took over the job. Pressure from here and there on the success of the team. It keeps coming day by day but we would not allow the pressure to disturb our plans.”
Meanwhile, Obuh will address a press conference organised by FIFA at the media centre of the National Stadium, Abuja tonight, starting from 6.00pm. Nigeria takes on Germany in their first match of the tournament at the National Stadium, Abuja on Saturday, starting from 7.00pm.
