AC Leader Drum Support For Ngige, Others
Ahead of 2010 gubernatorial polls in Anambra State, the leader of Action Congress (AC) in Rivers State, Prince Tonye Princewill is forging more alliance with power brokers in Bayelsa, Rivers and Edo to give their support to Dr. Chris Ngige, one of the contenders in the race.
The AC in a statement signed by Chief Eze C. Eze, the publicity secretary, explained that Prince Tonye Princewill wants to forge alliance with power brokers in the three states for Dr. Ngige of the Action Congress (AC) to enable the party salvage the worsening state of Anambra since the medical doctor left office in 2006.
Princewill, the statement noted, adjudged Dr. Chris Ngige to be amply capable of delivering the goods, having been tested and found worthy in public service.
Hear him: “I must confess that I am happy of the democratic method used by the AC machinery in producing credible candidates in Ngige and Agbasi to take the state to the next level”.
“This is an example of the way it should be. It is sad that instead of PDP to emulate AC, they imposed Soludo and Anosike on the party.”
Princewill, also the leader of the Forum of organised opposition Political parties (FOOPP) in Rivers State, called on the people of Anambra to forever reject PDP and take their fate in their head and vote in Ngige for February 2010 for the great future of the state.”
The Tide gathered that some political analysts see Anambra State as being lucky in having the top contenders in Obi, Soludo and Ngige who are adjudged to be amply capable of delivering the goods.
