No Going Back On Steady Electricity – RSG

Rivers State Government has restated its commitment towards steady electricity for the people of the state.

The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Power, Barrister Minabelem Michael West said this during an inspection of the Eleme and Trans-Amadi gas Turbine Stations.

Barrister West said that having invested so much on the power sector, the government would not rest on its oars until result is achieved.

Accompanied on the visit by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Power Engr. John Omoreghe.

Barrister West also held meeting with officers of the firm handling the project and other staff of the ministry and advised them to employ due diligence and expertise in the management and operation of machines entrusted in their care.

The permanent secretary and his entourage later inspected the 60 MVA duty transformer being installed by the state government at the PHCN Port Harcourt Main Station Oginigba.

In a related development the permanent secretary has advised staff of the ministry to be diligent and disciplined while carrying out their functions.
