Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has sent another list of 11 commissionership nominees to the House of Assembly for ratification.

Top on the new list are former Information Commissioner and Publisher of the Port Harcourt Telegraph Group, Mr Ogbonna Nwuke and his former Sports counterpart, Hon Boma Iyaye.

Others are Mr Gogo Charles, Hon Marcus Nleeji, Ms Patricia Simon-Hart, Hon Augustin Nwokocha, Barrister Ezemonye Ezekiel-Amadi and Barrister Kingsley Chinda.

The rest are Mr Emmanuel Chinda, Hon(Dr) Tammy Danagogo and Moses Ahubele.

Speaker of the state Assembly, Rt Hon Tonye Harry, who confirmed receipt of the new list of nominees invited the affected people to appear before the House for screening tomorrow.

In a statement in Port Harcourt yesterday, Rt Hon Harry advised the nominees to send 33 copies of their curriculum vitae to the House.

This is the second list of nominees for commissioners since the dissolution of the state executive council by Governor Amaechi early last month.

Four days after, on Tuesday, June 9, this year the state House of Assembly cleared the first list of eight sent to it by the stated chief executive.

That list included, Mr Dakuku Peterside (Works), Dr Sampson Parker (Health) Bar Ken Chikere (Justice) Dame Alice Nemi (Education) and Osima Ginah (Urban Development).

The rest were, Hon George Feyi (Finance) George Tolofari (Transport) and Bar Emanuela George Izunwa (Women Affairs)

If eventually ratified by the Assembly after the screening, the new list will bring to 19 the number of commissioners so far re-appointed after last months exco dissolution.
