The Presidential Committee on Implementation of Amnesty and Rehabilitation of militants in the Niger Delta would be in Port Harcourt for a stakeholders interactive meeting in Rivers State, today. The meeting would hold at the Atlantis Hall of the Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt by 2.00pm A statement from the acting Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Blessing Wikina indicates that those expected at the meeting include all opinion leaders, civil society groups, traditional rulers and ethnic nationalities. Others are the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, (PFN), Students Union and the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC). Also expected at the stakeholders meeting is the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Local government chairmen, the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Social cultural groups, militants groups and all stakeholders not listed above.
