CP Ojukwu Assumes Duty In Enugu

Ex- spokesman of the
Nigeria Police Force, Emmanuel Ojukwu,  has  assumed office as the new Enugu State  Commissioner of Police.
The state, Police Public Relations officer, PPRO, Ebere Amarizu, made this known yesterday to reporters in Enugu.
According to Amarizu, before the new appointment, Ojukwu, was the Commissioner of Police in charge of Eastern Port Command, Port Harcourt Rivers State.
The Enugu State police boss, took over from Nwodibo  Ekechukwu who was recently redeployed to Eastern Port Command, Rivers State.
Our correspondent gathered that the redeployment of the ex- Enugu Police Commissioner, (Nwodibo),may not be unconnected with the recent Fulani herdsmen’s attack on Nimbo community in Uzo- Uwani council Area of Enugu State.
It would be recalled that Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, had indicted security operatives in the state, especially the police on the Nimbo attack.
