CHAN: 21 Players Report To Camp


Twenty one players
have so far reported to the Super Eagles training camp in Abuja ahead of next month’s CHAN in Rwanda, officials have said.
Team official Patrick Pascal said they expect the other five invited players to join up later yesterday.
The absentees will include U23 stars Usman Mohammed and Bature Yaro as well as Rangers defender Matthew Etim, who only this past weekend got married.
Pascal further said they were scheduled to beginn training yesterday.
The squad are due to depart soon for South Africa before they will fly to Rwanda for the CHAN.
They open their 2016 CHAN campaign against Niger on January 18 in Kigali.
Tunisia and Guinea are the other teams in their first round group.
The attacking midfielder has featured for Nigeria at U20, U23 and full international levels this year.
