Stakeholders in Port Harcourt Ports and Flour Mills can now heave a sign of relief as the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike last weekend flagged-off the rehabilitation of Industry Road in the heart of Port Harcourt.
The Tide reports that Industry Road begins from the SPAR Super Market (former SUPABOD) bus stop and ends at Harbour Road by Stella Marris College junction, Port Harcourt, though the Kilometre range is yet to be disclosed by the contractor handling the project, Zerock Construction Company Limited.

Earlier, the NPA General Manager, Eastern Ports, Obumneme Onuenyenwa, had said as part of its corporate social responsibility, NPA was poised to create a new business environment to boost trade and commerce in the Ports in partnership with the State government.
Good roads, he said, is one of the major factors in trade facilitation, stressing that Wike’s government has shown concern for the yearnings of the business community, road users and the entire Rivers people.
The Managing Director, Zerock Construction Company Ltd. Maroun Kassouf, thanked the state Government and NPA for giving the firm the opportunity, and assured to complete the job in two months.
