Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Amaechi has said stability of the nation is key to facing and conquering its challenges.
Amaechi said this in a statement yesterday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. David Iyofor, congratulating Muslims on the completion of the Ramadan fast.
He wished Muslims across the country happy Eid-el-Fitri celebrations, and urged them to continually pray for the stability of the nation.
“Since the civil war, this has been a very trying period in the life of the country. But we must continue to pray for peace, oneness and stability of our nation, because that is one way we can overcome our problems,” Amaechi said.
He prayed for wisdom in tackling the nation’s challenges and crisis, and urged Muslims in Rivers State to remain peaceful as they join their counterparts around the world in celebrating eid el fitri.
Amaechi assured that the state will continue to protect the rights of everyone in the State.
