Sharks FC Secures First Away Point

The chief coach of Sharks FC, Imama Amapakabo has commended his players as they recorded their first away points this season, courtesy of a 0-0 draw with Rising Stars FC.

Amapakabo made the commendation in a telephone interview with The Tidesports shortly after his side played a goaless draw with new comers, Rising Stars FC on Saturday.

According to him, his players played impressively, showed commitment and determination in the game.

He said that the performance was an indication that the club would play much better in subsequent matches and be in contention for the league title.

“I really commend the players, because of the commitment and determination they exhibited in the game. They actually impressed me with their performance.

‘I believe we are not going to lose matches easily again because of the new team spirit in the players,’ Amapakabo said.

In the area of officiating, the chief coach said that the problem in Nigeria Premier League (NPL) is officiating, adding that Sharks lost 5-0 to Sunshine due to poor officiating.
