Guber Aspirant Plans Security Roundtable In Anambra


A governorship aspirant in Anambra State, Barrister Emeka Etiaba, has concluded plans to convene a one-day roundtable on crime prevention before the end of this month to seek ways toward checkmating of the rising spate of kidnapping and armed robbery in the state.
The seminar, according to Etiaba’s special assistant, Ogbonna Kamalu, will have as its renowned persons, a retired assistant inspector general of police, four retired police commissioners, a serving deputy commissioner of police and a renowned security consultant, among others.
The Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, Speaker of the House of Assembly, Hon. Kanayo Nebe are to attend as special guests while the heads of security agencies in the state, victims of kidnappings and armed robbery incidents, stakeholders, corporate bodies and citizens in Anambra were also invited.
